How does it work?

Submit a local nurse that has touched your life, a family member, or someone who cared for a loved one. Photo or written submissions are all accepted. We ask for a first and last name and the clinic and/or hospital they work for so we can accurately congratulate them. Submissions will be accepted April 21, 2017 through April 28, 2017 and readers will vote online for their favorite nurse between April 29, 2017 through May 8, 2017. 

On May 10, 2017, the nurse who receives the most votes will receive a prize. Submissions and voting are free! 

Submissions are free! Also, you can view entries to see other moments that the community has shared. 

Can I Submit More Than One Picture?

Yes, you can submit as many nurses as you would like. Dothan Eagle does not want to limit you to a single person if you have multiple members of your family, friends, or etc that you would like to nominate. 

Do I have to register?

Yes. Click on the REGISTER NOW button above to submit as many people as you would like. If you have taken part in contests on dothaneagle.com in the past, verify your information and you can submit photos, or write-ins immediately. 

Are There Prizes?

Yes, a $50 gift card will be given away to the winning nurse. Once voting has closed, we will contact the winner May 10, 2017 to confirm their identity/occupation and set up a time for them to pick up their prize.
